Pussy Power – an art and fashion-collab

To mark The International Women’s Day, Norwegian designer duo Anette Ousdal and Erica Mathiesen, the creators of the Pas Passé brand, are launching the Pussy Power collection in collaboration with artist Thea Klingvall (below).

According to the designers, the title of the collection not only reflects the power of the pussy, but also Pas Passé’s desire to continuously collaborate with talented women across disciplines and industries.

“We make each other stronger, together we are power. Pussy Power,” they write in a press release.

“It is absolutely fantastic to be able to contribute to the creation of unique slow fashion. The fact that art and fashion meet, and that every single garment is unique and to be able to collaborate with other discerning women is very special to me” says artist Thea Klingvall, who is known for her colorful images and urban aesthetics.

“We chose to collaborate with Thea Klingvall because she is a skilled artist who works hard and dares to be herself in a country like Norway where it is not always easy to be a little different. She has a beautiful and feminine aesthetic, and oozes good vibes, so we’ve been looking forward to this for a long time,” say the two entrepreneurs.

The new collection consists of redesigned vintage pieces mostly sourced in Los Angeles. The vibe is pastel, kitsch, denim and early 2000s, Paris Hilton, short skirts, oversized men’s shirts, leather, sports wear, spring and good vibes only. In other words: Pussy Power to the people.

The collection will be launched in Oslo at Eftir Grünerløkka on March 8.
