To our English readers:
Here are a couple of dresses to suit most bodies, budget and occasions
December is a month of parties and get-togethers. I love to dress up and would love to buy many new outfits each season. But it isn’t good for my bank account, my closet or the environment. Therefore, I allow myself a new dress, and then I use what accessories I already have.
First picture above: It is often tempting to wear a lot of sequins on New Year’s Eve, but there are not many other times you get the opportunity to wear it again. This dress is a bit more modest in the use of sequins, and can be worn for several occasions during December, such as the work Christmas party. Dress from Kappahl.
Second picture above: This is a classic dress for the first Christmas day. Burgundy hints at Christmas, but is a colourthat can be worn for the rest of the winter. It can be worn for everything from going out for wine with friends or for a visit to the opera. Burgundy dress from Kappahl, bag from Frøken Dianas Salonger, earrings from H&M.
Third picture above: A faux fur coat is both warm and elegant and looks good on New Year’s Eve when going outside to watch the fireworks. A timeless garment you can use for several years, as long as you take good care of it. I love bags! There are so many nice party bags in stores now, but I have a beautiful 1950s clutch and I’ve invested in a Chanel bag (from 1995) so I have what I need. There are bags that I love and the environment loves that I buy second hand. Kappahl dress and caot, vintage Chanel bag.
Note, this post is not sponsored by Kappahl, I have only borrowed dresses from them.
