H&M’s most exciting collaboration of the year

2020 is the year of collaborations for H&M. In the last two months they have given us collections by Sandra Mansour, Giuliva and Kangol. And they have more up their sleeve.

The Vampire’s Wife’s dresses are loved by royalty and A-listers, and designer Susie Cave has now teamed up with H&M to create a collection available to the rest of us.

The collection is definitely fit for a vampire’s wife, with it’s dark, romantic Victorian vibe, consisting of lace, velvet, and ruffles. That these dresses are perfect for Halloween, goes without saying, but they will have your back at any event or date all through winter.

Accessories include a pair of lace, fingerless gloves, large sunglasses and features jewellery designed by Susie Cave’s husband, musician Nick Cave. The charm bracelets, necklaces, ear cuffs, and rings are adorned with eyes, fangs, and other icons you would expect from the brand.

My personal favourite is the black maxi dress and the silver, lace cape with a velvet bow tie. The dress is beautiful in its details, but understated, where the cape is dramatic and will make an impact with whatever it’s paired with.

As if this wasn’t enough to get excited about, all the fabric is sustainably sourced and made with recycled materials. All this beauty will be available online and in selected stores on 22nd October.
