Inne i huset.

For our English readers:

Tim Walker’s wonderful world

TEXT BY: HANNA MARGRETHE ENGER

Tim Walker photographs some of Vogue’s most magical fashion stories. In his photographic universe, a model in gorgeous dresses in an old English mansion is not enough; he wants a horse or two as well. Inside the house. His images invites us to another world, a world where everything is possible, and where the line between fairy tales and reality is blurred. He not only photographs fashion stories, but also portraits. He has photographed everyone from Hollywood stars and supermodels such as Tilda Swinton, Lily Cole and Kate Moss to author Margaret Atwood and broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough. In collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum, he now exhibits a large selection of his photographs. Since it is Tim Walker, white rooms with plain walls isn’t enough. The exhibition is like stepping into his world. There are props from photo shoots in the ceiling. Each room has its own theme, from church to grandmother`s living room. Going through the exhibition is an experience in itself.

The exhibition is open until 8 th March 2020, and tickets cost £15.
